Vegan Marketing Company Launches Social Media Training Series for Veg Business Owners [ 26th March 2011 ]
By :- Admin

The vegan and vegetarian community is expected to grow exponentially this year, which means that veg and veg-friendly businesses are popping up everywhere, both in physical storefronts and online. Vegan Mainstream has designed a course to assist veg business owners in their quest to reach the trending veg community via social media.

“This first course is all about the basics, everything from learning how to properly set up Facebook and Twitter accounts to social media best practices. Our courses are geared toward vegetarian and vegan businesses, as that is our specialty! This particular course is ideal for those who are interested in learning how to manage their own social media accounts,” said Kristin Lajeunesse, a vegan of four and half years, and Vegan Mainstream’s Social Media and PR Manager.

The course will span four weeks covering Facebook in week one, Twitter in week two, general social media best practices in week three, and tools of the trade in week four. Participants will meet with Kristin once a day, five days each week, for fifteen to thirty minutes for a webinar, live chat, or tutorial. There will be weekly assignments and take-away resources. Each training session will remain on the hosting course website, so no need to worry about missing a session.
